I always have something to be shared with others..and when I think it is supposed to be shared, I always think that this is best to be shared here....
It was Sunday afternoon, and I just wake up :)(buruk perangai, seh!) nway, I got the chance to run through paper..BI-POP, Bintang popular, sisipan ahad with berita harian tu. and, I got the time to read a column by Ramli MS. To those who have read, u guys mungkin dah tau isu nye.
To me,it was all about PATRIOTIC!shock? this is not August to be story-telling of patriotisme..I know. The search for knowledge is everywhere..even in the gossip mag. He was expressing his personal thoughts about NEGARAKU!
What it i all about? those who have not read sure bengang je..:) Let me share the story.NEGARAKU adalah lagu saduran dari lagu TERANG BULAN, which is composed by NON-MALAYSIAN, if I'm not mistaken, by French man at Seychelles Island. And he also said that he believed that the song was just exactly like the MAMOOLA MOON song. And the saddest thing happened when, there is one orchestra performing NEGARAKU in JAZZ VERSION!!!! which is performed in MALAYSIA and being watched by MALAYSIAN! Many MALAYSIAN musicians were there, but they could not say anything, because, the orchestra can claim the song is TERANG BULAN or MAMOOLA MOON.
He appointed the issue because there was a debate in the parliament about Hattan singing the national anthem incorrectly in rhythm..or so-so la mase final Piala Malaysia aritu. I can't remember what is it actually wrong.anyway he suggested that NEGARAKU is composed new rhythm but with the same lyrics. So that no one will ever dare to jazz,hip-hop,blues or wat evea to our SACRED NATIONAL ANTHEM!Just imagine if somebody is try to jazz the GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!!surely their life will be in danger...
Itulah, maruah kita orang tengah main-main kan kita pula dok sebok with so many other issues that we thought important.entahlah...
So, korang rasa? lagu NEGARAKU patut diperbaharui tak? Dato Rais Yatim, Menteri kebudayaan, Kesenian & Warisan pernah kata, patut di ubah kerana that time we are trying to implement NEGARAKU to be played in every occasion including cinema. so, the current one ni not-so appropriate...cam ne korang? nak belajar tak lagu NEGARAKU baru??
